Irish no-frills airline Ryanair will carry out regular flights to Bulgaria from November, the carrier’s sales and marketing manager Laszlo Tamas said in a statement.
On November 2, Ryanair will kick off a regular route between London and Bulgaria’s second largest city of Plovdiv, which will be operated twice a week.
Talks between the Irish airline and Plovdiv Airport started in March. The company has been exploring options to strep on the Bulgarian market for the past two or three years.

Wednesday’s session on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) ended with a turnover of BGN 8.1 million, mostly on the back of pension insurer Doverie’s sale of its stake in real estate investment trust (REIT) Prime Property for BGN 5.5 million.
Between 11:30 and 11:34 hours local time, a total of 7.33 million Prime Property shares changed hands in four transactions at an average price of BGN 0.75 a piece. The company closed 7.81% higher at BGN 0.69 per share.

The Rezidor Hotel Group has announced the upcoming opening of the Park Inn Sofia, the first hotel in Bulgaria with the company’s Park Inn brand.
The Park Inn Sofia is scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2010 as a re-branding of the existing Greenville Hotel and Apartments, Sofia.
